Head over heels!

“Nu stiu cine a inventat tocurile, insa toate femeile ii sunt datoare” spunea Marilyn Monroe si mare dreptate avea. Tocurile sunt arma ta secreta! De cate ori nu te-au scos din cele mai grele situatii?

Ti-au “resuscitat” tinuta, atunci cand credeai ca totul e pierdut si ca nu poti sa mergi la petrecere cu rochia asta cu doua numere mai mare…dar cine se mai uita la rochie cu asa pantofi!

Ti-au fost alaturi dupa Marea Despartire, cand te credeai urata si proasta si grasa si nu credeai ca vreun barbat te va mai admira vreodata. Ti-au oferit curajul de a iesi in lume, putin mai increzatoare in tine si mai sexy si iata ca acum le datorezi 5 ani de casnicie!

Te-au insotit zi de zi la birou si ti-au adus aminte ca mai inainte de a fi robot esti femeie! Si parca nici tipetele sefului nu se mai aud atat de tare acolo sus…

Obsesia ta pentru tocuri a inceput in copilarie cand probai pe furis pantofii mamei, visand la ziua cand vei avea intreaga lume la picioare. Nimeni nu ti-a spus atunci ca viata e grea si ca e nevoie de mai mult decat de o pereche de pantofi sa ajungi sus. Cu toate astea, te-ai incapatanat sa-ti umpli dulapul de tocuri, in incercarea obsesiva de a reinvia sentimentul ala de fetita care avea un ideal. Si chiar daca nu a functionat, macar ai gasit un prieten care te ajuta neconditionat.

Cu toate astea, am intalnit femei care desi isi doresc foarte mult,  refuza sa poarte tocuri din simplul motiv ca sunt incomode sau ca nu le ofera stabilitate. Considera ca ar arata caraghios cocotate si prefera sa admire tocurile in picioarele si in atitudinea celor din jur.

Louboutin spunea ca “tocurile inalte sunt placere cu durere”. Depinde de tine daca esti dispusa sa platesti acesti mic pret.  Eu zic ca merita sa incerci, dar trebuie sa tii cont de cateva aspect atunci cand iti alegi noul “cel mai bun prieten”:

•  Tocul trebuie sa aiba marimea potrivita. Tocurile foarte mici nu ofera aceeasi eleganta ca cele mari. Tine cont de modelul pantofului si lungimea piciorului. Daca porti un numar mare, pantofii cu toc mic iti vor alungi si mai mult piciorul. Tocurile foarte mari nu ofera intotdeauna stabilitate si daca nu le combini cu tinuta potrivita pot sa iti dea un aspect vulgar.
• Tine cont de marimea gleznelor in special atunci cand iti alegi modele cu bareta. Pantoful cu toc trebuie sa imbrace frumos piciorul, sa-i ofere eleganta.
•  E de preferat sa probezi orice pantof inainte de a-l achizitiona. Stiu ca sunt multe modele care iti fac cu ochiul de pe site-urile internationale, dar daca nu iti cunosti piciorul foarte bine, risti sa ai surprize.

Cenusareaso, de cate ori ai o zi proasta si vrei sa-ti ridici moralul, urca-te pe tocuri si priveste viata de la inaltime.

“Sus pe toc” viata e altfel, privesti totul cu incredere si optimism si problemele par mai mici. Orice e posibil cu perechea potrivita de tocuri!

Tot Marilyn Monroe spunea “da-i unei fete perechea de pantofi potrivita si va cuceri lumea”. Sunt sigura ca se referea la pantofii cu toc….

(EN) "I don’t know who invented high heels, but all women owe him a lot" said Marilyn Monroe and she was so right. Heels are your secret weapon! How many times have you used them to get out of the toughest situations?

Heels have “revived” your outfit when you thought all was lost and you can’t possibly go to the party with this two sized dress... but who is looking to at your dress now when you have those shoes!

Heels have been with you through your “Great Brake Up”, when you thought you were ugly and fat and stupid, and that no man will ever like you again. They gave courage to get out there, a little more confident and sexier and now you owe them five years of happy marriage!

Heels have been with you every day at work and they have remembered you that before being a robot you’re a woman! And you can’t even hear your boss scream, this is how high they have taken you.

Your obsession with heels began in childhood when you used to try on your mother’s shoes dreaming of the day when you have the whole world at your feet. No one told you that life is hard and it takes more than a pair of shoes to conquer the world. Since then, you have stubbornly filled your closet with heels in an attempt to revive that feeling of a little girl who had an ideal. And even if it didn’t work, at least you found a friend who helps you unconditionally.

However, I have met women who even if they really want it,they refuse to wear heels just because they are uncomfortable and do not offer stability. They consider to be looking silly and prefer to admire heels in the feet and attitudes of others.

Louboutin said that "high heels are pleasure with pain." It’s up to you if you are willing to pay this small price. I say it’s worth it, but keep in mind some aspect when choosing your new “best friend”

• Heels should have the right size frame. Very low heels do not offer the same elegance as high heels do. Consider the model of the shoe and your size when buying a pair of low heels. If you wear a big shoe size, low-heeled shoes will make your feet look even longer. Very high heel don’t always offer stability and if you don’t choose the right outfit, they can make you look cheap.
• Consider the size of your ankles especially when choosing strap heels. Heels must beautifully dress your leg and make it elegant.
•  It's best to try on any shoe before you buy it. I know there are many models that make your eye on the international sites, but if you don’t know your feet very well, you take on some risks.

Cinderella, whenever you have a bad day and want to cheer yourself up, put on those heels and look at life from up there.

"Up on the heel" life is better, you are more confident and optimism and problems seem smaller. Anything is possible with the right pair of heels!

Marilyn Monroe also said to "Give a girl the right pair of shoes and will conquer the world." I'm pretty sure she really meant “heels”...

Shopping is my cardio

Despre moda…numai de bine! Asta pana deschizi dulapul si realizezi ca nici azi nu ai cu ce sa te imbraci…camasa alba preferata s-a cam ingalbenit si  fusta visinie iti intra doar pe un picior. Te hotarasti la rochia cu buline, dar iti aduci rapid aminte ca afara ploua si ai nevoie de ceva mai gros...tragi clasicii jeansi pe tine, un tricou negru si cardiganul, arunci doua-trei accesorii si iesi pe usa bombanind…ca nu ti-ai mai cumparat de secole ceva nou, ca trece sezonul pana apuci tu sa-ti iei noii Air Max, ca parca nu-ti vine sa muncesti doua luni gratis pentru ei, ca viata e nedreapta si moda n-ar trebui sa fie pe bani…

Cenusareaso, problema nu e la tine in dulap si nici in portofel! Problema e la cat de nesigura te simti tu in ziua aia si cat de mult ai nevoie sa te agati de o tinuta “traznet” ca sa te simti bine.

Fara sa-ti dai seama, hainele ascund sufletul! De cate ori n-ai dat iama in magazine doar pentru ca ai avut o zi proasta, constienta de faptul ca  “o sesiune de shopping e mai ieftina ca una la psiholog” si cum te-ai simtit cand ti-ai cumparat “cei mai frumosi pantofi din lume” sau “cea mai tare rochie”? Sentimentul asta de “cel mai” dureaza in medie cam doua zile si vreo 10 complimente…apoi problemele revin si simti din nou ca ai sufletul la fel de gol ca si dulapul.

Stiai ca femeile poarta in medie doar 25% din hainele pe care le detin? Asta pentru ca tindem mereu sa ne cumparam lucruri noi incercand sa umplem “golul"

Cenusareaso, hainele nu-ti vor rezolva problemele! Asta doar tu poti sa o faci! Lacrimile nu se sterg cu matase, se sterg cu incredere si zambet!

Fa-ti curat in dulap si in suflet! O sa descoperi lucruri uitate, de care iti era dor si pe care o sa le porti cu drag, dar si lucruri de care iti va fi greu sa te desparti desi stii ca nu mai fac parte din viata ta! Arunca tot ce-ti face rau, tot ce nu te lasa sa fii fericita!  Fara remuscari! Fa loc lucrurilor frumoase!

Si nu uita: o femeie fericita, va fi apreciata indiferent de hainele pe care le poarta!

That is until you open your closet and realize that you don’t have anything to wear...your favorite white shirt is a little yellow and your purple skirt is bit small. You decide on the polka dots dress, but you quickly remember that it’s raining and you need something thicker. So you pull out your classics jeans, a black shirt and a cardigan, you throw two or three accessories and get out the door rattling about how you haven’t bought something new for centuries, how the season goes by and you didn’t get the chance to get your new Air Max, how you may need to work for free the next two months to own them, and how life is unfair and you shouldn’t pay for fashion!

Cinderella, the problem is neither in your closet nor in your wallet! The problem is how unsafe you feel that day and how much you need to “cling” to an outfit to feel better. Do you realize that clothes hide the soul! How many times have you raided stores just because you had a bad day, well aware of the fact that “shopping is cheaper than a psychiatrist " and how did you feel when you bought "the beautiful shoes in the world" or "the hottest dress"? That “the most” feeling lasts about two days and 10 compliments...then problems come back again and again you feel you heart as empty as your closet.

Did you know that women wear on average only 25% of the clothes they own? That's because we tend to always buy new things to fill in the “gap”.

Cinderella, clothes will not solve your problems! You are the only one that can do that! Don’t wipe your tears with silk, wipe them with confidence and smile!

Clean your closet and your soul! You'll find things forgotten that you missed and you will wear with love and things that will be hard let go although you know they are no longer part of your life! Throw away everything that is bad, everything that does doesn’t let you be happy! Without remorse! Make way for the beautiful things!

And don’t forget: a happy woman will be appreciated regardless of the clothes she wears!

Sweet Escape

Viata pe podium e grea, mai ales atunci cand te impiedici si cazi…pentru ca nu stii daca mai poti sa te ridici, pentru ca ai cazut din nou, desi ti-ai promis ca nu ti se va mai intampla niciodata…pentru ca nu stii daca cei din jur te compatimesc sau rad de tine in secret, daca vei gasi o mana de care sa te sprijini sau te vei lovi de un zid de ironie.

Cenusareaso, sa cazi e cel mai bun lucru care ti se putea intampla! Nu te grabi sa te ridici, e cel mai bun moment sa descoperi daca ti-ai investit sentimentele in oameni care au meritat asta, daca ai un sot sau un iubit dedicat, daca ai prieteni adevarati, daca esti iubita si apreciata chiar si atunci cand dai de greu.

Indiferent de raspuns, adu-ti aminte ca puterea cea mai mare e in tine! Sigur, e bine sa ai un umar pe care sa plangi, dar cei care te iubesc nu vor sa te vada trista…pentru ei si pentru tine, ridica-te singura!

O sa-mi spui ca nu poti, ca e prea greu, e prea mult…

E greu, e mult, dar nu imposibil! In astfel de momente, cand presiunea te apasa, cand nu gasesti solutii, cand simti ca nu mai poti…cel mai bun lucru pe care il poti face este sa evadezi…din birou, din casa, din oras, din mijlocul problemelor…

Cauta un loc linistit, in mijlocul naturii, admira peisajul, simte mirosul ierbii si mangaierea soarelui de pe obraz, asculta fosnetul frunzelor. Acolo problemele nu exista, acolo esti tu cu tine!

Tu ai puterea sa opresti timpul in loc, sa nu mai existe nici “ieri”, nici “maine”, ci doar “azi”. Tu, azi, aici!

Tu, azi, aici, esti fericita! Natura nu te judeca, natura nu te invidiaza si nu te cearta. Natura te sustine, te consoleaza si iti da putere!

Habar n-ai tu, Cenusareaso, ce norocoasa esti! Atata timp cat ochii tai inca mai vad covorul de culori, atata timp cat urechile tale aud fosnetul frunzelor, atata timp cat pielea ta simte mangaierea soarelui, inseamna ca stii sa traiesti frumos! Si atata timp cat stii sa traiesti frumos, vei reusi cu siguranta sa te ridici!

Curaj, Cenusareaso! Podiumul e lung si plin de obstacole, dar tu devii mai puternica si mai inteleapta cu fiecare pas, asa ca ridica-te, aranjeaza-ti fusta, pudreaza-ti nasul si mergi inainte…ceva minunat urmeaza sa se intample!

Here you have the power to stop time, there is no “yesterday” or “tomorrow”, but only “today “. You, here, today!

You, here, today, happy! Nature doesn’t judge you, doesn’t get jealous at you and doesn’t argue. Nature supports you, gives you hope and strength!

Cinderella, you have no idea how lucky you are! As long as your eyes still see the carpet of color, as long as your ears still here the rustle of leaves, as long as your skin still feels the touch of the sun, it means you know how to live beautifully! And as long as you know how to live beautifully, you'll definitely be able to get up!

It's all about ATTITUDE!

Exista femei care te hipnotizează prin simpla prezenta. Gandeste-te putin la prietena aia din grupul vostru care e mereu in centrul atentiei, cea care are intotdeauna parul aranjat, machiajul intact si zambetul pe buze, care e curtata de toti barbatii si invidiata in secret de toate femeile.

In metrou, pe strada, in parc, in club sau la cafeneaua preferata… astfel de femei sunt peste tot! Sunt cele dupa care intorci capul pe strada, sau cele pe care le urmaresti pe Facebook cum isi etaleaza corprurile perfecte, vacantele perfecte si vietile perfecte…

Daca te uiti atent la ele, vei observa ca majoritatea nu sunt inzestrate cu o frumusete debordanta, dar toate, absolute toate sunt femei cu ATITUDINE!

Aceste femei stiu sa se faca remarcate pentru ca isi cunosc potentialul. Stiu sa se puna in valoare si stiu sa se faca placute.

Cenusareaso, stiu ce gandesti… ca tu nu vei putea fi niciodata ca ele! Ca majoritatea sunt femei cu bani, intretinute, care traiesc doar pentru a fi frumoase… Si totusi nu sunt toate asa! Exista femei de cariera care isi platesc vizitele la salon prin multe ore suplimentare, femei de afaceri care isi rasplatesc succesul unui contract printr-o geanta Fendi, dar si femei care si-au dat ultimii bani pe “cea mai frumoasa pereche de pantofi din lume”. Cu toate astea, succesul lor nu vine din investitiile facute ci… din ATITUDINE!

Nici macar o geanta Fendi nu te va salva, daca tu mergi pe strada cu capul plecat si nici cele mai frumose tocuri din lume nu te vor “ridica”, daca tu te desconsideri. Pentru ca toate astea sunt doar accesorii, si femeile alea pe care le admiri stiu asta, stiu ca ele investesc in accesorii pe care le poarta cu ATITUDINE!

Asa ca daca vrei sa schimbi ceva la tine, incepe cu ATITUDINEA! In primul rand fata de tine, apoi fata de cei din jur!

Despre cum sa-ti descoperi frumusetea interioara si cum sa-ti accepti defectele am discutat deja…acum e timpul ca si ceilalti sa vada cat esti tu de minunata! Incepe prin a accepta complimentele. Atunci cand cineva iti admira tinuta, renunta la scuzele de genul “ rochia asta veche…o aveam prin dulap de secole si am scos-o de la naftalina…”. Un simplu “multumesc, si mie imi place” e de ajuns! ! Tu ti-ai ales tinuta, te-ai uitat in oglinda inainte de a iesi din casa, asuma-ti alegerea! Nu e nimic rau in a fi multumita de tine, nu vei fi considerata nici ingamfata si nici fitoasa daca accepti un compliment.

Succesul tau in viata incepe si se termina cu atitudinea pe care o ai. Daca iti doresti sa ai succes, trebuie sa incepi sa te gandeşti la tine insuţi ca la o persoană de success si rezultatele nu vor intarzia sa apara.

Cenusareaso, drumul pe podium e greu dar nu imposibil. Inarmeaza-te cu atitudinea potrivita si nu uita de cel mai de pret accesoriu: zambetul!

Some women just hypnotize you with their presence. Think about that friend in your group who is always the center of attention, who always has the most beautiful hair, the intact makeup and the perfect smile on her face, who is courted by all men and secretly envied by all women.

In the subway, on the street, in the park, in the club or café ... these women are everywhere! These are the women you head back on the street for, or the ones that you are following on Facebook for their perfect bodies, perfect vacations and perfect lives...

If you look at them closely, you will notice that most are not endowed with exuberant beauty, but what they all have is ATTITUDE!

These women know how to get noticed because they know their potential. They know how to show their value and know how to be an enjoyable company.

Cinderella, I know what you’re thinking ... you'll never be like them! Most of these women are trophy wives, living just to be beautiful... Still not all of them! There are also career women who pay the visits to the salon through overtime at the office, business women who reward the success of a contract with a Fendi bag, and women who gave their last money on "the most beautiful pair of shoes in the world”. However, their success does not come from the investments they made but from their ATTITUDE!

A Fendi handbag will not save you, if you walk down the street with your head bowed, nor the most beautiful heels in the world will "lift” you if you're feeling down. Those women you admire know that all these accessories they are investing in are nothing, if they don’t wear them with attitude!

So if you want to change something, start with your ATTITUDE, first towards you, and then towards those around you!

We already discussed how to discover your inner beauty and how to accept your flaws... now it's time for others to see how wonderful you are!

Begin by accepting compliments. When someone admires your outfit, give up excuses like “this old dress ... I had that in my wardrobe for centuries”. A simple “thank you, I like it too” is enough! You have chosen your outfit, you looked in the mirror before leaving the house, own your choice! There's nothing wrong with being happy with yourself, you will not be considered presumptuous or infatuated if you accept a compliment.

Your success in life begins and ends with the attitude that you have. If you want to be successful, you must begin to think of yourself as a successful person and the results will come.

Cinderella, life on the runway is difficult but not impossible. Arm yourself with the right attitude and do not forget the most important accessory: your smile!
