On the Runway at Glamour Fashion Street Show

Saptamana
trecuta am participat la concursul de Street Style organizat de Revista
Glamour, unde am castigat locul 3. Am ales o tinuta simpla, dar eleganta, cu gand
de vacanta si aer de Riviera Franceza.
Desi
initial m-am inscris mai mult din dorinta de socializare si de a petrece
frumos alaturi de prieteni, se pare ca tinuta mea a fost apreciata de membrii
juriului, lucru care m-a onorat, in special deoarece din juriu au facut parte,
printre altii, Dana Rogoz si celebrele Fabulous Muses, Alina Tanasa si Diana
Enciu, ale caror aventuri in lumea virtuala le urmaresc cu mare interes.
Am
reusit sa ma fotografiez atat cu Dana cat si cu Muzele Fabuloase, cu Dana chiar
am discutat putin si am ramas frumos impresionata de simplitatea, naturaletea
si energia pozitiva pe care o emana.
Dana
este o femeie puternica de la care toate avem de invatat. Desi a trecut recent
printr-un moment tragic in familie, a stiut sa-si mascheze tristetea, sa isi
ridice capul si sa iasa in lume, sa fie stralucitoare si sa aduca putina
bucurie unor ilustre necunoscute care vroiau sa straluceasca si ele pentru o
zi.
Evenimentul
a fost unul foarte reusit. Cu rasfat de hair & makep-up, cu prezentari de
moda si cu multe cadouri.
Tin
sa le multumesc organizatorilor, juriului si sponsorilor pentru premii: celor
de la Toshiba pentru hardul extern
de care chiar aveam nevoie si celor de la Marionnaud
pentru parfumul Lancome care se
afla deja pe lista mea de achizitii pentru vara asta si pentru cosmeticele
profesionale de la Make-Up Studio, o
marca de care nu auzisem dar care m-a convins prin calitate.
Le
multumesc si prietenelor mele care imi sunt mereu alaturi, pentru zambete si
sustinere, dar mai ales ii multumesc sotului meu pentru sprijinul neconditionat
pe care mi-l ofera intotdeauna si pentru fotografiile minunate.
Si
imi multumesc mie, pentru initiativa si curaj. Pentru ca mi-am depasit
limitele, pentru ca am incercat si pentru ca mi-am oferit o seara de fericire.
Cenusareaso,
oricand esti trista, cand nu mai faci fata problemelor, cand simti ca viata
trece pe langa tine, fa-ti un cadou. Dar
nu orice fel de cadou, ci un cadou inedit, ceva ce nu ai mai facut, ceva ce te
va scoate din zona de comfort, ceva ce iti doresti in secret, dar crezi ca nu
ai putea face. Fa-ti curaj si s-ar putea
sa ai parte de experienta vietii tale!

Last week I participated in the Street
Style Contest organized by Glamour Magazine, where I won 3rd place. I chose a
simple but elegant outfit, inspired by the vacation breeze and French Riviera.
Although
initially I joined more from the desire to entertain and socialize with
friends, it seems that my outfit was appreciated by the jury, which honored me,
especially because the jury was made up of, among others, Dana Rogoz and famous
Fabulous Muses, Alina Tanasa and Diana Enciu, whose adventures in the virtual
world I’m following with great interest.
I
managed to take pictures both with Dana and the Fabulous Muses. I even talked a
little with Dana and I was pretty impressed by the simplicity, naturalness and
positive energy she exudes.
Dana
is a strong woman that we all have to learn from. Although it has recently gone
through a tragic event in the family, she knew how to conceal her sadness, he
raises his head high, and she went out in the world all glammed up and brought some
joy to some illustrious strangers who wanted to shine as well for one day.
The
event was very successful. We were offered pampering hair & makep-up, fashion
shows and lots of gifts.
I
would like to thank the organizers, judges and sponsors for the prizes: the
external hard drive from Toshiba
that I needed and those in Marionnaud
for the Lancome fragrance that was
already on my list for this summer and for the professional cosmetics from Make-Up Studio, a brand that I had not
heard but that convinced me with their product quality.
I
would also like to thank my friends that are always there, for the smiles and
support, and my husband for supporting me unconditionally and for all the great
photos.
And
I would like to thank myself for the initiative and the courage. Because I have
exceeded my limits, and I offered myself an evening of happiness.
Cinderella,
whenever you're sad, when you feel that life is passing you, do yourself a
gift. But not just any gift, but a unique one, something you've never done, something
that will get you out of your comfort zone, something you always wanted in
secret, but you didn’t think you could do. Be brave and you might have the
experience of a lifetime!

Stilul…il
ai sau nu. Vestea buna este ca daca nu-l ai, ti-l poti construi, in timp, cu
atentie si rabdare!
Toate
femeile alea pe care le admiri pentru tinutele fabuloase sunt femei nascute cu simt estetic si
atat. Restul e studiu…al revistelor de
moda, al noilor colectiilor, totul imbinat cu regulile nescrise ale modei.
Simtul
estetic este cel care le ajuta pe aceste femei sa-si asorteze pantofii fucsia
la rochia corai. Din revistele de moda afla ca se poarta pantofii stiletto si
ca la Zara au varianta mai ieftina si regulile nescrise ale modei le impiedica
sa-si puna ciorapi luciosi de culoarea piciorului, chiar daca afara sunt 15
grade…
E
foarte important sa iti alegi hainele care iti plac nu hainele pe care le
poarta toata lumea. Daca ti-ai luat cizme crosetate pentru ca toata Piata Obor le
poarta, nu inseamna ca ai stil!
Stiu
ce o sa-mi spui, ca femeile alea cheltuie o avere pe haine si accesorii si ca e
normal sa arate impecabil. Si ca cizmele crosetate sunt ieftine. Am o alta vest buna pentru tine: stilul nu se
cumpara!
Da,
cu haine de designer nu dai gresi niciodata, da, trebuie sa-ti vinzi un rinichi
pentru o pereche de pantofi DAR stilul nu inseamna sa-ti tragic 2 piese de
designer pe tine si gata, ci sa stii sa alegi din multitudinea de variante si sa
reusesti sa le combini intre ele.
Cenusareaso,
invata sa faci diferenta dintre ce e ieftin si ce te face sa arati ieftin!
Exista
atat de multe variante de unde iti poti procura haine pe care sa nu cheltui o
avere si care sa nu miroasa a plastic!
In
primul rand trebuie sa stii ca nu ai nevoie de foarte multe piese in garderoba ci
doar de piesele esentiale: o camasa alba, o rochie neagra, cateva perechi de jeansi, cateva tricouri
simple si doua- trei fuste de dimensiuni si culori diferite. Pe toate le poti
gasi in marile magazine in perioada reducerilor, sau la magazinele de soldari
care aduc haine din sezoanele trecute. Poti incerca chiar cateva sesiuni de
thrifting pe la Second Hand-uri. Vei fi uimita cate piese vintage si accesorii
de designer gasesti. Si nu, nu e nici o rusine sa iti iei o bluza Balmaine din
second…mai rusinos este sa porti tricou fake cu paiete “D&G” pe care ai dat
tot 13 lei…
Tine
de tine cat si cum investesti in garderoba. Tot ce vreau sa-ti spun este ca nu
trebuie neaparat sa fii bogata ca sa ai un stil apreciat de cei din jur.
Cunosc
femei cu bani care, desi isi permit, nu investesc in haine si accesorii scumpe si
cu toate astea au un stil impecabil, personalizat! Atat de personalizat incat
nu as putea identifica magazinele din care isi cumpara hainele.
Despre asta e vorba, stilul trebuie sa te
defineasca, sa vorbeasca despre tine, despre cum esti, despre ce simti.
Sentimentele
sunt cele care dicteaza atunci cand iti alegi o tinuta. Daca ai una din zilele
alea proaste iti tragi boyfriend jeansii pe tine nici nu conteaza unde iesi ca
tu doar in ei te simti bine. Ai zile ca trebuie neaparat sa porti tocuri pentru
ca esti sexy si fericita si zile in care desi mergi in parc cu rolele, trebuie
neaparat sa porti fusta…
Stilul
este cel care te ajuta sa stii cum sa porti aceste alegeri. Pentru ca si cei
mai plictisitori boyfriend jeansi pot fi resuscitati cu acesoriile potrivite,
pentru ca stii ca tocurile sexy merg combinate doar cu anumite piese ca sa nu
dea in vulgaritate si pentru ca fusta trebuie sa o incadrezi intr-o tinuta
sport ca sa o combini cu rolele.
Cenusareaso,
am invatat impreuna ca nimic nu e imposibil, ca si tu poti fi frumoasa,
admirata si stilata, daca adaugi putina munca, o atitudine pe masura si un
zambet larg!

Style
... either you have it or not. The good news is that if you don’t have it, you
can build it in time, with attention and patience!
All
those women who you admire for their fabulous outfits are only born with a
great aesthetic sense. The rest is study ... fashion magazines, new collections,
all combined with the unwritten rules of fashion.
Aesthetic
sense helps these women to match the fuchsia dress to the coral shoes. From
fashion magazines they learn that stilettos are back in and that they can find
a cheaper version at Zara, the unwritten rules of fashion will prevents them to
wear transparent glossy stockings , even if it’s 15 degrees outside...
It
is very important to choose the clothes you like not the clothes everyone is
wearing. If you got the crocheted boots just because everybody from your
neighborhood is wearing them, that does not mean you have style!
I
know what you will tell me: that these women spend a fortune on clothes and
accessories and it's normal to look flawless. And the crocheted boots are cheap.
I have good news for you: you can’t buy style!
Yes,
you will never fail if wearing designer clothes and yes, you have to sell a
kidney for a pair of shoes but the style does not mean you take two pieces of designer
and you put them together but you have the ability to choose from many options
and manage to combine them together.

learn to tell the difference between what’s cheap and what makes you look
cheap!
There
are so many options where you can buy clothes that do not cost a fortune and
that does not smell like plastic!
First
you should know that you do not need many pieces in your wardrobe but the
essential pieces: a white shirt, a black dress, a few pairs of jeans, some
simple shirts and two three skirts with different sizes and colors. You can
find them all in the big stores during sales, or clearance stores that bring
past seasons clothes. You can even try a few thrifting sessions. You will be
amazed how many vintage and designer clothes you can find. And no, there's no
shame in wearing a second hand Balmain blouse... but there is shame in wearing
a fake “D&G” sparkle shirts that you also paid 5$ for.
You
decide how you invest in wardrobe. All I want to say is that one does not have
to be rich to have a style appreciated by others.
I
know rich women that, although they can afford it, do not invest in expensive
clothes and accessories and still have the most impeccable custom style! So custom
that I could not identify where did they buy their clothes from.
Your
style must define you, talk about you, how you are, what you feel.
Feelings
are what dictate when choosing an outfit. If you have one of those bad you only
feel good in your boyfriend jeans and a t-shirt. You also have days that you’re
feeling happy and sexy and you must wear heels and days when even if you go
rollerblading in the park, you really need to wear a skirt...
Your
style is the one that helps you know how to wear these elections. Because even
the most boring boyfriend jeans can be resuscitated with the right accessories,
because you know heels are sexy only combined with some articles and you need to
wear your skirt in a sport outfit for the rollerblading session.
Cinderella,
we learned together that nothing is impossible, that you can be beautiful ,
admired and stylish, don’t forget to add a little work , an attitude and a very
wide smile!
